Fabrics have evolved a great deal over the last 10 years with bullet proof vests and a lower cost alternative to steel for various applications. ImpactShield™ is made of a high tensile strength fabric designed by Shield Technology Group with the help of engineers from world renowned fabric companies such as Exxon Petroleum, Fabrene of Canada, and CCT of Canada. Once ImpactShield™ is activated and the fabric is stretched, it simulates a drum or a trampoline over the window or door eliminating the possibility of flying debris to cause damage. It has been tested and has passed the strict testing codes developed by top engineers in the Building industry.
